Reaction

When it was first proposed that the Tokoroth might have an autistic spectrum disorer I was asked whether I felt disappointed.

"Yes," I said, "I was hoping for Tourettes." :D

    I have a friend who thought having Tourettes would be 'as cool as fuck'. He's not the most intelligent chap....

    The little boy next to us is Autistic. Whilst he's not profoundly so, he cannot make eye contact with people, cannot verbalize his feelings and has a need for repetition (he spends hours in the back yard bouncing a giant ball and coo-ing to himself). My daughter's friend has Asperger's Syndrome, as does a kid I attend college with, so I've got some experience with variations on the Autism theme, so to speak. If you need someone to talk to, you know where I am.

    Mister Tokoroth is a darling little chap...such beautiful eyes!
